What does folk music sound like? Do you hear particular instruments and beats when you imagine it? Do you think of acoustic instruments and dry voices? From Bob Dylan's famous "Judas" moment in 1965 when he first publicly strapped on an electric guitar at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester to today, folk music has enjoyed an increasingly comfortable relationship with electric instruments. This is a workshop for celebrating folk music with a rock’n’roll edge.
